Strengthening the One Health framework through integrated approaches to zoonoses, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), food safety, wildlife health, and biosecurity—ensuring safe and sustainable interfaces between animals, humans, and ecosystems.
Harnessing advances in microbiology, immunology, genomics, proteomics, physiology, and biotechnology to develop next-generation diagnostics, targeted therapeutics, and precision veterinary interventions.
Enhancing productivity and profitability through efficient production systems in dairy, small ruminants, and poultry. Emphasis on nutrition, housing, disease management, processing technologies, product diversification, and inclusive value chains for livelihood and nutritional security.

BASiC–2026 Conference Programme Overview
A flagship forum to empower young researchers, animal and veterinary scientists, technologists and innovators from academia, research organisations, and industry. YSC aims:
📍 To familiarise participants with India’s STI policies and success stories.
📍 To provide a high-visibility platform for oral/poster presentations.
📍 To expose youth to frontier areas such as AI, data science, nanoscience, emerging technologies in livestock health, production, agriculture and environment.
BASiC–2026 cordially invites to submit original, research-based abstracts aligned with the conference themes. Abstracts must be submitted through the website on www.basic2026.in on or before 20 May 2026.
